Delon and Devon ventured away from their gaming consoles this last week to go and watch “The Gamer” starring Gerard Butler and Amber Valleta. They speak about the gaming tech in the movie and how it relates to the gaming tech available today.

When doing the podcast it was amazing to actually look at the surrounding controversy of the game and to see how passionate the fans of the series are about it. What we’ve seen with signed petitions (possibly the BIGGEST petition I’ve ever seen) it really shows in a strange kinda way that Infinity Ward have made a great game. However to play a little bit of devil’s advocate as much as the fan’s think that this is their game it really isn’t, and so while they can suggest things that they want changed in the game, ultimately demanding that the monster developer to change it’s ways is going to be a little difficult to do. What I’d be interested to see is how many gamers stuck to their guns and refused to purchase this game.
